Fermented sticky rice
Tape Ketan Manis is a traditional sweet fermented dish made from sticky rice (ketan) from Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, which is created by adding tape yeast and sugar, giving it a unique, slightly alcoholic and sweet-sour flavor as well as a soft texture. It is often prepared with green (pandan) or black (sticky rice).

Served as a dessert, snack, or side dish, sometimes also used in other desserts such as pudding or cake.
The taste is a mixture of sweet, slightly sour, and has a distinct fermentation aroma.
