Unfried Vegetarian nut chips
Emping is a traditional Indonesian cracker, similar to a chip, made from the seeds of the melinjo tree (Gnetum gnemon) by flattening, drying, and then frying them until crispy. it has a characteristic slightly bitter taste, but can also be sweet and spicy (emping blado) or salted, and is served as a snack or side dish with rice and curries.

Frying Instructions:
- Pour a sufficient amount of cooking oil into the frying pan, wait until the oil is hot enough.
- Add crackers one by one to the pan until they expand, turn once and remove when they are crispy.
